Fallen Rats

Al llegar a Lisboa empecé a ver pájaros muertos en la calle. No era algo dramático, solo una presencia constante. Lo extraño fue descubrir que casi nadie más parecía registrarlo. Ese desajuste entre lo visible y lo percibido se convirtió en la semilla del proyecto.

No hablo de pájaros. Hablo de todo lo que se extingue lentamente mientras seguimos adelante. Microdesapariciones, pequeñas fugas de realidad que dejan un rastro mínimo y aun así modifican el paisaje.

Este proyecto no busca denunciar ni enseñar. Solo propone detenerse un segundo en aquello que deja de existir sin hacer ruido. Como si la muerte también pudiera ser una forma de información.

When I moved to Lisbon, I started noticing dead birds on the streets. It wasn’t dramatic, just quietly present. The strange part was realizing that almost no one else seemed to see them. That gap between what is visible and what is actually perceived became the seed of this project.

I am not really talking about birds. I am talking about everything that fades without announcement. Micro extinctions, small leaks in reality that leave almost no trace and still reshape the landscape.

This project is not meant to teach or accuse. It simply invites a brief pause to notice what disappears without making noise. As if absence itself could be a form of information.
